To repeat this all you need to do is copy your feature file and past it in the same location resulting in a filename "Copy of FEATURE.xml". After some digging, I realized the image file name had an ‘@’ symbol in it: Removing the symbol fixed the problem. Dev Center Explore Why Office? I've open the wsp as a cab and checked that there are no duplicate files in there as I understand that can sometimes cause this issue.
Re build the WSP and Deploy- it should work fine. After checking on Google it appears that symbols such as [email protected]#$%^&* may cause issues. Lesson learned: keep file names simple so SharePoint is happy.
